We are thrilled to be back in person for the 65th West Virginia Reading Association Annual Conference. This year’s theme is Back to Our Roots: Fill the Mountains with Literacy. West Virginia is known for its rich history of sharing traditions from generation to generation through the basic processes of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Getting back to our roots – in the classroom by teaching students through effective literacy instruction – will ensure their future successes in life.
Each year, over 500 educators from all over West Virginia and several surrounding states join together to network, learn and engage with the latest instructional materials, technology and literacy services. Conference participants enjoy meeting with authors and attending thoughtful presentations on the role of literacy in our communities. Be our guest this November and come discover how you can help fill our mountains with literacy.
